Advancing Credible Mineral Opportunities and Responsible Investment in Uganda
CMG develops and prepares early-stage mineral opportunities for engagement with responsible capital, strategic operators and technical partners. We also support investors evaluating, structuring and implementing investments in other mineral projects across Uganda.
Our role
Our role is to improve decision quality through local insight, disciplined project assessment, due-diligence coordination and practical in-country support.
Two Ways to Engage CMG
Regulated geological, engineering, environmental, legal and financial opinions are undertaken or reviewed by appropriately qualified professionals.
How CMG Works Across the Investment Lifecycle
Engagement Pathways
- Investment in CMG-originated or CMG-supported opportunities
- Joint ventures, farm-ins and strategic technical partnerships
- Investor-side project assessment and due-diligence coordination
- In-country investment and implementation support
- Development-finance or staged strategic participation
Engagement pathways are assessed individually and do not constitute public investment offers, financial products or guarantees of funding or commercial returns.
How Investor Engagement Works
Step 1: Define the mandate
Confirm whether the investor seeks a CMG opportunity, support with an independently identified project or broader Uganda minerals-sector assistance.
Step 2: Preliminary alignment
Review investment criteria, project stage, available information, counterparties and the proposed scope of support.
Step 3: Confirm role and independence
Clarify CMG’s relationship to the opportunity, disclose material interests and agree on any conflict-management safeguards.
Step 4: Assess the opportunity
Coordinate information review, specialist inputs, stakeholder engagement and site assessment where appropriate.
Step 5: Support decision and structuring
Consolidate findings, identify critical gaps and define the proposed structure, responsibilities, milestones and controls.
Step 6: Support implementation
Where commissioned, provide in-country coordination, monitoring, risk management and structured reporting.
Independence and Integrity
CMG clearly discloses whether it is acting as an opportunity originator, project developer, project-owner adviser or investor-side adviser.
Where CMG or a related party has an ownership, financial, advisory or other material interest in an opportunity, that interest will be disclosed before accepting an investor-side assignment. CMG will not present itself as independent where an undisclosed interest exists.
CMG does not promote unverifiable mineral stockpiles, guaranteed returns, misleading resource claims or transactions that bypass regulatory, technical, environmental, social or financial due diligence.
Opportunity before transaction. Evidence before claims. Credibility before capital.
